Dental prosthesis

The Dental Prosthesis is an artifact, made by a qualified dental technician, under the guidance of a dentist, used to change the lost or compromised original dentition for functional and/or aesthetic reasons of one or more elements.

The Fixed Prosthesis is permanently assured in the stomatognathic context by using elements called abutments or titanium endosseous screws (implants) thanks to the cementation technique.

The term Resinated or Skeletonized refers to a kind of removable device suited inside the oral cavity thanks to the help of small hooks.
