Pedodontics or pediatric dentistry is a discipline that prevents and treats the pathological odontostomatological pathologies of the patient in the developmental age, from 2 to 16 years old. The attention is focused on the prevention of carious lesions both thanks to the dental hygienist and the dentist (suggestions of correct diet, applications of fluorine, sealing of furrows, oral hygiene education, identification of early detangles) and looking for collaboration of small patients.
